Physical therapy for older adults

Build strength.
Stay capable.
Keep doing what matters.

Getting older doesn’t mean your goals should get smaller. Build strength, balance, and endurance with exercise that meets you where you are and progresses with you.

Strength with purpose

Train for the things you want to do: carry groceries, climb stairs, get up from the floor, travel, or return to the gym. We choose a meaningful challenge and adjust it as your abilities grow.

Balance & confidence

Practice stepping, walking, and balance in ways that relate to your daily life, with appropriate support and supervision as the challenge progresses.

Progress guided by your health

Your health history, current abilities, and response to exercise guide your plan. We monitor how you’re doing, adjust the challenge, and reassess progress toward your goals.

THE MILO APPROACH

A plan you understand.
Progress you can build on.

Physical therapy should connect what happens in the clinic with what matters in your life. We combine careful movement assessment, education, hands-on care, and progressive exercise to help you work toward your goals.

  1. 01

    Understand how you move

Explore your symptoms, history, and goals. Look closely at movements and activities to understand what may contribute to your symptoms and which strategies help.

  2. 02

    Learn, practice & build capacity

Understand the purpose of your treatment, practice useful movement strategies, and build the strength and endurance to support them.

  3. 03

    Reassess and progress

Track your response, adjust your program, and practice the skills you need outside the clinic.
